I am delighted to welcome you to the Institute of Dental Sciences, Jammu, Jammu, and Kashmir, a premier institute imparting the bachelor program in dental education since 2006. I feel immense pleasure to inform you that with our continuous commitment to integrating Quality in our overall system, NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), has reaccredited us with a B grade in January 2023 and we are the first dental college in the region to receive such coveted accreditation. Today our graduates are national and global healthcare professionals, researchers, and entrepreneurs. We are committed to promoting excellence in dental education by inculcating self-discipline, competencies, clinical skills, intellectual standard, and social values among our graduates. Welcome to the office of Director Academics-IDS Jammu!
Our goal is to bring excellence in instruction, scholarly and creative products to the overall academic process of the college. As an important advising body to the college management, we coordinate with all teaching departments for the development and implement the vision and mission of the college through strategic planning concerning curriculum development, faculty training, supervising and monitoring the instructional process, and evaluating students learning outcomes. We are sincere in helping you groom scholarly creativity; organize mentoring and counseling sessions for supporting you whenever you feel it is required of you. We will give you legitimate academic freedom to achieve your career goals. We will collect your feedback on the instructional process of the college and will try our best to bring desirable change and innovation to it.

Message from Coordinator Internal Quality Assurance Cell
Dear students, parents, and all stakeholders of IDS Jammu,
Greetings from Internal Quality Assurance Cell!
IQAC has been established in the college as per the guidelines of NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), a statutory body of UGC to conduct assessment and accreditation of Higher Educational Institutions (HEI). We act as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including the adoption and dissemination of best practices. We are an advising body to the college management in bringing both desirable and innovative transformation At IQAC we are responsible for monitoring, enhancing, and maintaining a sustainable quality and effectiveness culture in the overall operations of the institutions. We assist the college management in its decision-making process by optimizing the data management process of the institute. We conduct various awareness sessions for the faculty, staff, students, college management, and other stakeholders concerning the latest trends and development in quality aspects of intuitional functioning. We have contributed purposefully to the college in achieving its first and second-cycle accreditation by NAAC.
